Mental Health Assessments

Our mental health assessments offer a thorough evaluation of an individual’s emotional and psychological well-being within the context of family and legal concerns. These assessments help identify mental health conditions, behavioral concerns, and psychosocial stressors that may impact parenting capacity, family dynamics, or court proceedings.

What It Involves:
We use clinical interviews, standardized assessment tools, and collateral information (when appropriate) to evaluate symptoms, coping strategies, trauma history, and overall functioning. The process may also include a review of medical or legal records to inform our findings.

Purpose:
To provide a clear, evidence-based understanding of an individual’s mental health status. This information supports informed decision-making in court and helps guide therapeutic services, parenting plans, or reunification efforts tailored to the needs of the individual and their family.

Family Dynamics Assessments

Our family dynamics assessments provide a comprehensive evaluation of the emotional, relational, and behavioral patterns within a family. This assessment helps identify underlying issues that contribute to conflict or distance and offers a roadmap for healing.

  • What It Involves: We assess family roles, communication styles, and unresolved issues that may be impacting relationships. This may include interviews with family members, observation of interactions, and questionnaires.
  • Purpose: To gain an understanding of the family's strengths and challenges, allowing us to create a targeted reunification plan that addresses their specific needs.

Supervised Therapeutic Visitation

Therapeutic supervised visitation provides a safe and structured environment for parents and children to reconnect under the guidance of a trained mental health professional. This service is particularly beneficial for families who have been separated due to custody disputes, foster care, or court-ordered circumstances.

  • What It Involves: We provide on-site visitation supervision, during which a mental health professional observes and facilitates interactions between family members. Therapeutic interventions may be used to promote positive communication and address any relational issues that arise during the visit.
  • Purpose: To support healthy, positive interactions and ensure that all parties feel safe and supported while working towards reunification.

Family Reunification Therapy

Family reunification therapy focuses on healing and rebuilding relationships between estranged family members, especially between parents and children. This therapy is often necessary after a period of separation or trauma and helps families work through emotional barriers that may have formed.

  • What It Involves: Through guided therapy sessions, we help families address issues of trust, communication breakdowns, and unresolved conflicts. Sessions can include individual, parent-child, or whole-family meetings, depending on the needs of the family.
  • Purpose: To promote long-term healing and restore emotional bonds, helping families create healthy, functional relationships and move forward with a strong foundation.

Our court involved services are grounded in compassion, experience, and a deep understanding of family dynamics. We recognize that every family is unique, and we are committed to providing personalized care that fosters growth and healing.
